Surrendering Doubt
What happens when you believe, but you aren’t quite sure it can happen for you? Well, it’s not that you don’t believe it can happen, you just aren’t sure of how it can happen, especially, given the circumstances.
This is doubt. It creeps in like a thief in the night. It sounds like you. It sounds logical. It sounds safe and cautious. It makes a case that it’s keeping your best interest in mind. Yet, it often is sent as a distraction.
The pandemic has taken its toll on the planet in more ways than one. For many it seems doubt is a rising pandemic as we come upon 2 years of enduring the consequences of a virus. You know what God said ton you, but after so long it’s just… How? When? Am I sure? Are all questions that pop up consistently.
Doubt gone unchecked becomes unbelief.
Unbelief is dangerous. That’s when your heart has been hardened, but doubt. We can bounce back from doubt. It’s difficult, but possible. If you’ve been believing for something or praying about something, now is not the time to stop. It’s the time to renew your belief. How do you bounce back from doubt?
Remember what God said: not you mama, not your logic, but deep down in your spirit you felt a shift happen. That is what you tap in to. That’s what you want to lock in on.
Find 5-10 scriptures related to what you’re believing for. Bring in the reinforcements! You don’t need to see with your eyes, you need your spiritual eyes to see for you.
See the vision and pray about that. Don’t spend your time complaining to God about what it looks like. Pray with vision, prophecy over what god showed you. Thank Him in advance. It’s not often I pray about the kingdom marriage God showed me, but when I’m prompted to pray about it, I do. One thing God corrected me on the last time was to stop saying “my” marriage, “my” family. No, it’s “our” marriage, “our” family. If I’m believing for kingdom partnership I have to speak it.
Keep these things in mind. Don’t let doubt keep you down, let it serve as a reminder that you need the One who never wavers. Let God shift your perspective and you will find your reality becomes shifted with it.
