A good testimony can change the game. A testimony right on time can give you the encouragement you need.
Your story is powerful, and no one can take that from you.
I used to be ashamed of my story. I felt like it wasn’t a big overcomer story, and I couldn’t share. I didn’t think what I had to say was meaningful or impactful because people were going through worse than me.
That was such a lie from the enemy.
So many people, women especially, suffer from insecurities. The enemy took what I went through and made me believe that I had nothing to share or give. None of us ever experience something that only we can relate to. Someone has been through something similar and overcame.
When we go through challenges we can feel as though we are the only ones. When that happens, we often isolate. But you gain so much power when you get in community and reach back to those in a similar position when the time is right.
Never dim your light or shrink your voice. Someone needs to hear what you have to say, God brought you here for a reason.
