The Power Of Your Testimony
He works everything together for our good. That good seems to be multiplied when our impact is revealed to us.
All of us have a story. I used to listen to what people went through. There’s so much pain and turmoil that God protected me from, especially when I was younger. I don’t’ know why me, but that’s the grace that was on my life. It’s not to say I didn’t have tests and trials, but because of the nature of comparison, I felt like my life wasn’t worth sharing.
Maybe for some people I can keep it but none of us are for everyone. It’s for the ones that hear and relate. It’s for the ones that appreciate the advice given because of personal experience in dealing with certain issues. I’ve had to learn to appreciate my personal testimony.
Isn’t it just like the devil to want to shame us into keeping our mouth closed?
Oh, but God. He knows who to send and when.
Have you shared your story lately?
Have you made a difference in sharing victory from your life?
Have you felt the impact by sharing with others what you only know because God saw you through?
I encourage you to be confident in the journey God provided through you. Never be ashamed to share. Recently, I was reminded of this as I shared some things with a girl that she was also experiencing. It was something I could have easily felt embarrassed by, but she was so thankful because it really helped her when it seemed no one else understood. And I was glad I had the ability to help despite my previous foolishness.
Whether we could watch a movie on your life, or you faced more internal issues, God is able to use you to reach who only you can. Be open for the opportunity. Know that what you went through could make the difference for someone in how their story goes. What is it that you wish someone had told you? That right there is your everyday ministry. Take action to answer that and you can see how you change the world, one testimony at a time.
