Pinky Promise: A Weekend To Remember

Hey Queens!

Have you ever made a Pinky Promise? A small gesture but full of big heart behind it. Well, Heather Lindsey created the Pinky Promise Movement. What can seem to some a small, cute commitment to God and yourself will return huge blessings upon your life.

I started following Heather Lindsey almost 2 years ago. She is transparent and real. I was given the opportunity to attend her Pinky Promise Conference this past weekend. Worship was amazing, Sarah Jakes Roberts was amazing, Cornelius Lindsey was amazing, of course Heather was amazing, and other smaller sessions too.

But do you know what I appreciated the most about this conference?

There was this surrounding sense of sisterhood everywhere you went that I’ve never felt at a conference before. Ladies were open to speak you just by sitting next to you in line or the audience. Women prayed for complete strangers. Ladies flew internationally just to get a word and feel the support that was sewn into every moment.

I loved it! I made new connections myself. I received many revelations from God as well as I centeried myself in His presence. I look forward to reviewing all my notes and applying everything to my everyday life. If you missed it, here’s a few personal revelations I got:

  1. Snatch it back! I have a fire burning inside and i can’t let my past dictate where I’m going. Even in my walk with God I’ve had set backs but i can’t let the devil steal my joy or my identity any longer. I’m taking it back!
  2. Even in moments of feeling insignificant God has placed a message down on the inside of us. Are we going to speak up? It can change the course of a nation with one word. No one should be exempt from the message we have to share no matter how we feel about them and their ability to receive from us
  3. Stop predicting the future and serve God right where you are. I have been known on more than one occasion to get anxious, to wonder too much about my future, not completely trust God and start to do things in my own ability. But i am learning, and this conference is confirmation, to be intentional in the present. Don’t get so caught up in what is to come i forget to do what’s right in front of me.

Did you attend Pinky Promise?

What did you like the most? What did you learn?
