Get Your Drive Back
Last month, I was making mistakes left and right.
Little mistakes. Small errors. Again and again. I hit a breaking point and I said, “what’s wrong with you.”
Listen, I had to stop myself. I have been delivered from too much to let this small heavy phrase crack open a door God helped me close. So, I had to reverse it.
Nothing is wrong with you.
You’re learning from your mistakes
You’re not what you do.
It’s not life or death.
Give yourself grace.
I realized something was wrong, but I didn’t have to talk to myself like there was.
To get back clarity and focus for yourself you need to get rid of your distractions. I did it by deleting my social media for a period of 2 weeks. Maybe that’s what you need to do. Maybe it’s something else that needs better boundaries. But it’s not enough to just cut some things off, when you pinpoint your distractions it’s important to also redirect your focus and energy to get your drive back the way you desire.
Practical steps to renew your clarity:
1. Get more rest
2. Pray over your mind
3. Write out and prioritize your day
4. Speak LIFE over yourself and situation
5. Dig deeper to know the cause of what has you off for real
Prayer will always bring clarity and fasting is a great way to dig even deeper if it’s a stubborn issue. Whatever you choose for your strategy, know that you can and will get back on track. But be kind to yourself in the process, your mind shouldn’t have to fight you too in order to get back.
