Made an HEIR!

Made an heir.

Do you know what this means? I am not even talking about a self-centered trend of calling yourself royalty. I’m talking about a promise!

“Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own sons and daughters! And because we’re his, we can access everything our Father has—for we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah!”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This verse stood out to me a couple months ago. It was so powerful because I love Galatians and yet, never saw it in this light.

I’m an heir.

I’m an inheritor.

I think sometimes as Christians we know that we have the power of Jesus, we can recite the church vocabulary, but we don’t fully understand from our heart and live it out. So, this weekend I had the pleasure to attend a conference featuring Toure and Sarah Jakes-Roberts on this topic.

It was amazing!

But it was also a great reminder. Here’s a few takeaways:

  1. Jesus died and rose to make me an heir. I have inherited the promises of God. Even if bad happens, His promises still remain true.

  2. Don’t hold back. The enemy loves this. But a Queen, entitled to promises, knows who they are and operates as such. Do it for the kingdom, not yourself, is a bigger motivation to push you forward.

  3. Prophesy over your life. I have the power to change, by being real with God and speaking into existence the things He allows me to see in my spirit until they manifest naturally.

  4. Don’t lose confidence. (Hebrews 10:35) when you know what God said, know that it will happen, not because of you but for His sake. So don’t lose sight of the vision.

  5. Surrender the things you want to God. Because when it’s for selfish motive, there is no benefit to Him coming through. And when it’s not from Him it’s a burden. Make sure you want to glorify the one who blessed you through every blessing given.

That’s just the beginning. There was so much more.

What are some revelations and new visions that God has given you? Either at a conference or your own personal time with God?

Keep your crown up,
